Well, well, well of Lost Plots

Yes, I know I've already gushed about how much I love Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series but I've just finished book 3 and... well, I'm even more in love with the series now. In the book Thursday, the heroine, is forced to seek refuge in a place called The Well Of Lost Plots, where books exist in their constituent parts. I can't explain it easily but it works so very well. Especially as the humour is just fantastic. Nowhere else can you get a hi-brow literary illusion to the fantasy genre followed in the next sentence with a killer joke about Orc sh*t. I almost died laughing.
Oh and it also contains the most wonderful invention ever. A thing called a vyrus which changes the world inside the Well Of Lost Plots by changing the spellings of adjectives. It's not only funny but also complete genius!
Anyway I'm already 50 pages into book 4 and I'm finding that just to be as interesting and inventive.
Thanks to Jasper for brightening my day.
