Just been poking around in the embers of a few stories I started but ever finished. A few sparks rose and flickered like flames, they died away again quickly but if I found the time to build up some kindling, I bet the fire would come back.
Re-writing, new ideas, new stories, lots going on.
Thanks for reading.

Water Bears

Sadly not the name of a new Children's TV series but a type of microscopic creature. The photo above is from the BBC. Isn't it amazing the sorts of creature that exists that we know nothing of. Or what they can do. According to the article below these little beasties can survive in space and there's an experiment busily taking place to prove it. Fascinating, and also a little worrying considering how quickly species are going extinct. Yes I know, these water bears are tiny and aren't endangered, but imagine what larger creatures we are busily killing by mistake, and what they might be able to do.
What if the dodo was flightless in the Earth's atmosphere but, given the right breathing aparatus, could fly in space? Oh the posibilities. Sorry for this rather random final comment, but my brain's gone into overtime.
Here's the article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/12855775
Thanks

Beyond the Deepwoods

Hello,
I discovered a wonderful series of books called the Edge Chronicles. I'm just about to finish the first book so I can't comment on the series as a whole, but I've really enjoyed the first book. It's full of weird and wonderful creatures. There are illustrations too and all in all it's a really nice package. Why not have a look? More info at the offical website:

Writing's going well. So are rewrites. Same old, I promise some news soon. Things are finished :-)
