Hello,
So I've just been away on my hols. A good thing as the long flights meant great long stretches of uninterupted reading. So what did I choose?
Well, one of the books was Forgotten by Cat Patrick. I think it was the cover that grasped me first, then the premise. Every day at 4.33am the main character forgets her past. She can only remember the future. What this means is that she has to leave notes for herself so that she knows what happens the previous day. Great idea and as I discovered it worked really well. It's sort of mysterious and a little 'teen vampire' although obviously there aren't any vampires, but it would fit nicely along that sort of book in writing style. I enjoyed it immensely. It's funny, interesting, well written and has those little heart-murmuring moments when things go wrong for the main character. I'd recommend it.
Also, if you like this sort of thing check out my post about Yvonne Woon's Dead Beautiful, that was good too. Although far more 'teen vampire'.

Thanks for reading (And thanks to Cat for writing).
