Once upon a time, way back in 2008, I wrote a book called The Whispering Sand. And it was published. And not very many people read it, although those who did had some very nice things to say about it. Fast forward to now and I’ve written all sorts of things, not least a good few sequels to the Whispering Sand. However I don’t have a publisher or an agent. So right now one of the stories I wrote is busily winging its way around all and sundry hoping to pique some interest. Sadly the sort of tale I enjoy writing isn’t going to sell many copies so it’s been a long haul, and it’s getting longer all the time.... And so! I decided to dip my toes into the world of ebook publishing!
Yes, one of my stories is available right now! Hop over to Amazon and you’ll be able to download The Spectacular Space Gun!
The what? Well, you’ll have to read it and see. I’ll post a few more teasers to give you some idea of what might happen.
I really, really hope you enjoy it, or at least appreciate it for what it is...
A scientific voyage of discovery to the ends of the heavens! So pack your corned beef sandwiches. It’s going to be a bumpy ride!
Unfortunately it does cost 79p. That’s the cheapest I could make it, and you do get it from the reputable dealer that is Amazon. You’ll be able to download it to your ebook and read until your heart’s content. Which, considering the millions of hours I put into it, isn’t that bad really. The link is here;

And then, why not pass it on! Yes, share share away! Tell, share, or moan for all you’re worth! Believe me it will help.
Sadly I created the artwork myself, which is why it looks a bit...erm...brown. It’s actually industrial rust on an old chimney combined with the dust jacket of a very old book but...well, it looks like a cow’s bottom doesn’t it?
Also the ebook format doesn’t allow for footnotes so you’re missing out on fifty ‘humorous’ little anecdotes I added in true Terry Pratchett style. Sadly you’ll have to wait for the hardback (LOL!) to read them but for now the story is complete! So what are you waiting for?!
Oh...right, how about a blurb?
Have you ever read From the Earth to the Moon by Jules Verne?
Simon hasn’t, so it comes as a shock when he finds himself blasted out of a cannon headed for the Moon. And when the mission goes awry he discovers just why Victorians weren’t cut out for space exploration.
Thank you for listening, reading and sharing.
